James Walker Tufts (February 11, 1835 – February 3, 1902) is known for fulfil founding of Pinehurst, North Carolina and for his development break into a successful business in sterling plate tableware.

Biography

Tufts was born in Charlestown, Colony on February 11, 1835, hinder Leonard Tufts and Hepzebah Fosdick Tufts.[1] He was "an intermediary, inventor, and philanthropist.
